Moosey as best i can i will attempt to answer your question. "is it still Valid"

    Short Answer is NO!!!!!

The license was canceled as a condition precedent in the agreement with GEH whereby Silex and Cameco acquired ownership of GLE with a majority interest to SLX.

Why would GEH want to impose such a condition in the agreement? To the lay person looking on it did not seem to mean much.

My supposition is that it would have something to do with what GEH's future plans for the area in particular for HEU fuel fabrication. It may be that there are critical safety issues from a NRC licensing perspective that enrichment and HEU fabrication can not be within a regulated environment with each other. Your prodigious research skills maybe be able to give us the answer to that. If they had left the license in place it may have created another barrier for GEH to do what they liked with their site, by having to mitigate, pacify or renegotiate any rights GLE may have had.

Finally to reemphasize the categorical NO.

I put to a couple of the very senior directors of our company at the 2023 AGM your long held view that maybe the pilot plant could be used to produce LEU or HEU for critical market purposes. Again the answer was a resounding know with the rider that the pilot place is only licensed as a research facility and nothing else.
