    It is indeed a fine day for deck construction, walking the dog and sweeping autumn leaves in Melbourne's verdant northern suburbs.

    The sunshine has led Billy to muse on arithmetical matters.

    Hypothetically, if I had bought 2 million Norwood at 30c and 10 million at 2c, would I have a taxable profit or a taxable loss were I to sell at 5c ?
