OK then Kam, you promote an eternal soul that goes somewhere after death, that will be either close to God or distant, where these latter ones can work their way closer to God.

Rev Ch 6 - And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Some of these under the alter for example, could have been there for 2,000 or more years.
Are you saying that these souls are actually in a conscious state here?
Being there for this length of time, does that sound very exciting?
What would be the point and purpose of all this time?

Gen 4:10 - And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.

I would suggest to you, that the Rev's quote is in the same context as this Gen's quote.
