I have always preferred listed investments but have come to the conclusion that there is a whole host of unlisted opportunities so I’m willing to look at both options. I’m not overly concerned about dividends at this point but more total returns. I won’t be in retirement mode for another ten years or so , so I’m looking at just continuing to grow my capital. I already hold significant listed investments that are spitting out cash that I need to invest reasonably regularly. Type of manager is hard to describe, just managers that stand out and make sense. I need details about their process and explanation around their investment thesis. SEC, LSF, PGF, are examples of funds with managers that I like. My investment hurdle is a minimum average return of 8% after fees p.a.
