PrimeAg said that they intended to plant 6000 ha of irrigation cotton and 5500 ha of dryland cotton this summer. They indicated that they had sold forward half the crop at above US$500 a bale but that is looking not so flash now (hindsight is a wonderful thing).
Tandou indicated they were planting 4000 ha of irrigation cotton and AAC intend to plant 1500 ha of presumably dryland cotton.
