The one thing I don’t get is that China control the price of Spodumene which they clearly have been cramming into the abundance of Chinese EVs produced. So there then is this narrative of oversupply allowing them to take all Australia’s spod at or below production price while producers just wait for their artificially deflated price to go up.
Maybe they shouldn’t be running the price benchmark. There needs to be an exchange not based in China.
