Sure a short circuit Wells configuration would produce higher recovery rates but that doesn't make it economical as PEN will need more wells and higher cost of acid.
From memory PEN try 3 more distance field trials Well configurations and all failed poorly to recovery, so final field trial was a short circuit one..
How PEN production recovery rates and economic is unknown and why PEN MC is where it is,.. producer or pretender..????
