Something like that would probably work, and another thin one behind it. Or perhaps a bit flatter and angled:
Anything like that could be possible, and it wouldn't even need to be thick. A couple meters could do it I suspect. Those are modelled at just a 2-3deg dip to the west, so basically flat.
Lets hope for some whopping intersections, but even if there aren't, I think we are fine long term. Developing Burmeister alone would add value.
