I have given you my reasons why I say it was a failed attack to capture Kyiv that ended in humiliation. All you can do in response is complain about my reasoning and never offer you alternative explanation for why thousands of Russian troops died near Kyiv, why even more were injured near Kyiv or why hundreds of Russian vehicles were destroyed near Kyiv if not to try to capture Kyiv.

Offer an alternative explanation or stop complaining about mine.

Regardless of the terminology you wish to interchange, regardless of the discussions that had taken place or any interim items agreed to, no peace deal between Russia and Ukraine was reached in 2022. Neither BJ, nor the US nor the EU are responsible for those talks ending.

Those talks are also irrelevant to my question that I have asked other users here if they would be happy for a negotiated peace on terms acceptable to Ukraine.
