Good evening ... T-Bull, Learner and Ben,

    Many thanks for your feedback.

    T-Bull,

As you state ... “Investors should be very careful where they get their information from. IMU has a website with over 100 announcements over 60 videos clearly setting out the facts”.

This is absolutely the best and certainly the most reliable source regarding IMU trials. I have read some incredible statements from punters who have made a quick Google search, or worse, have overheard a rumour in the local pub. Certainly not the advice I would lean on for my investments. It seems obvious, but I would recommend investors read and re-read all company announcements ... and then, if you require further clarification, email one of the IMU team. They will always get back to you with clarification, provided the response does not require them to step outside the guidelines.

    Learner,

I always look out for your posts. I am amazed at your resilience and good humour, in spite of your many health challenges.

I also love that you are prepared to debate your treatment with your GP. As I have suggested to you before, if you are not comfortable about the ‘advice’ you are receiving, seek another opinion.

I have several friends who are surgeons. They are wonderful people and hugely skilled. They love to tackle some of the most difficult medical situations ... as long as they have a scalpel in their hand. This is what they do, and this is what they are good at ... but I often remind them that sometimes they may need look at other, less invasive options, before they pick up their ‘weapons’.

Speaking of surgeons, I am following the neo-POLEM trial very closely. To remind readers, this trial is looking at early-stage colon cancer that has spread to the local lymph nodes. The SOC is surgery and chemotherapy. If there is a recurrence of their cancer, they are in considerable trouble as they currently have almost no other options. Now with this trial, instigated by surgeons, yes surgeons, they are first using IMU’s PD-Vaxx to shrink the tumour prior to surgery. I love this. I believe it has an excellent chance of improving patient outcomes ... and it will be supported by the surgeons! This may be a real ‘left-field’ winner for IMU.

    Ben,

You make many good points, as you regularly do. I suspect that your financial knowledge of ASX listed companies is second to none on these threads.

You draw attention to a previous Paul Hopper statement ... “eluding to in the company’s Christmas newsletter of a few years back, or more importantly what thunder it was Leslie Chong was not wishing to steal from Yuman Fong.”

I have long suspected that Paul had to make a number of strict concessions to Yuman before he would allow his ‘baby’ to be entrusted to the IMU team. Afterall, Yuman had been digging, exploring, massaging and re-engineering this little virus for 20+ years. It is potentially his greatest achievement ... in an already stella career. Time will tell. I suggest that there are many caveats across a range of areas, including ... who will make the announcement that they have ‘cracked the code’.

I know everyone here hopes that Yuman gets that opportunity to make that amazing announcement, but there are several more bridges to cross before we may hear that wonderful news. In fact, our MAST study is still trying to ascertain which cancer, when to intervene, at what dose, using which end-points and what bio-markers.

We are well on our way, in potentially one of the greatest experiments of all time ... and it takes time. So far, the science appears to be right on track, and until I hear we have hit a roadblock ... I will be staying the course. Everyone has a choice. Always stay informed ... so you can make an informed decision.

    Have a great week.

    All opinion, as always
