the point is not so much that gold is going up.. its relatively stable compared to other assets than fiat currencies.. it is the currencies that are collapsing, by design.. fiscal dominance is the only thing keeping the rest of the economy from imploding though the only place for currencies to go if that remains the path is hyperinflation, conversely the alternative is the grerat depression mark II... either scenario will drive gold through the roof.
ultimately under option 1.. gold can go to near infinity and the next time a fiat currency note rises in value will be as a collectors item in a few thousand years if it can be preserved that long.
under option 2.. we would have years or even a decade or 2 of severe depression driving gold massively higher as all other business areas contract.. this however has the potential to save the currency from going to zero.. but i dont think thats the intention of the cenral planners, i think they are collapsing fiat by design to (a) impoverish the masses under the you will own nothing agenda (b) bring about universal basic income to make citizens dependees of the state and (c) to facilitate the acceptance of CBDC by the populace.

so if you view it through that lens, especially under the current direction of hyper stagflation... how could you not see gold going 5 digits or more? maybe they can hold if under 10k for the rest of this decade, but ultimately where else can it go?
