If some other entity could buy out AGY tomorrow, and then magically access the project and said IP, then what is stopping AGY from doing that right now and selling/licensing that to others?
Why would anyone want to buy/license a process that has so far proven unscalable? Puna Mining, despite years of trying, have yet to demonstrate that they can produce lithium carbonate at a commercially significant scale. That makes for a difficult sales pitch, which is probably why JZ still hasn't been able to lock in an offtake or funding deal. I don't think he's worried about a TO right now, because clearly no-one's interested.
