I was thinking along similar lines.

34mln traded in the space of 2hrs is pretty big even for LYC's standards. Maybe the ASX needs to introduce speeding tickets along the lines of percentage volume traded rather than prioritise the questioning on price.

Alot of people are saying its just sentiment with REE being on the nose with profit takers.

However, that doesn't wash with me.

Think about it.

Who is the leader in this sector??

Lynas of course.

When Lynas goes up more often than not most Ree stocks follow. The opposite is true when it heads south. The big difference this time around. ARU nosedived first.
Now we could easily argue that it was insiders who lead that charge given the CR announcement 2 days later.

Now if i was JP Morgan, holding the apron strings of Lynas shares, i would jump in boots and all creating massive selling forcing the price down to accumulate more.

Common sense tells me that with all the recent news on the REE sector including a 15% increase on the basket price this week, why would shareprices plummet???

I can only come to one conclusion.
