firstly I have no idea when the next bear market will emerge, maybe next week or in a couple of years time - who knows
If market falls, suggestions
a - sell stocks, take a break
b - hedge open positions by shorting the index via a cfd provider, or short the index without open positions
c - short stocks, maybe use 2 cfd providers, if one of them doesn't have available stock, try the other one (large caps and mid caps usually available to lend)
d - hold nothing overnight and buy sell offs with tight stops
