5g/6g is being used and will have major impacts on military equipment development and battlefield communications. This is attractive to govts for obvious reasons. You are restricting your self to general telecommunications. No govt will share their research into govt/military developments re 5g/6g. China has already stated they will/are using 6g to detect submerged submarines. There will be 'no' sharing of this research unless agreements like AUKUS 2 are made. NTT and SK Korea are ex govt telco's just like Telstra but they are researching and leading spectrum research but china probably ahead but the US has woken up. As posted next conflict will be a spectrum conflict ,one example speed whether laser or 5g/6g,if 5g is used further enhanced by 6g making reaction time less they will win any conflict. Its not esports.
