Good to see some activity at NAG at last. Although all eyes are on gold and silver at the moment, and with very good reason, not much attention is being paid to NAG's antimony deposit, which I believe will be very valuable once they start producing.

Australia really does have the potential to become the major antimony supplier to the West at a time when demand for this relatively scarce mineral is growing rapidly.

There are four main contenders among the Australian-owned companies with significant stibnite deposits in Australia - NAG and SXG in Victoria, LRV in NSW, and BC8 in WA. We should also not overlook SNG, an Australian company with a significant stibnite deposit on the NZ South Island.

I've been hoping that SXG and NAG would be the first to actually start mining the stibnite, but I now suspect that LRV will be first, and BC8 might well be second.

The consolation for NAG holders is that while production is delayed, the in-ground minerals are appreciating in value.
