More seriously, I think RAC is a good case study of what happens if management treats all shareholders with respect - you attract respectful shareholders who show respect to new investors. Despite the best efforts of some people here to turn the RAC threads into the usual juvenile name-calling that typifies so many "discussions" on HotCopper, we have instead seen the best from people. Instead of a flamewar, we have seen detailed and scientific explanations from many different shareholder as to why they think RAC is special. A huge thanks from me to everyone who fought fire with information.
