after a while ... it takes its toll ... you are correct in that they need people to fill their shoes ... i would guess they are mentally and physically exhausted ... its OK when things goes you way, but if you have to fight a battle year in and year out, it becomes difficult
just a guess ... good move though ... hopefully things turn around for LTs
