One or 2 oil industry experts here said CVN will be sold or at least gutted of Bedout interests before first oil. I now believe them. What next? If all Bedout interests sold I'm for a wind up of CVN with cash to us long suffering SHs. Going through another decade or so of the same frustrations is not my idea of an investment.
Or maybe they stick to onshore O&G. Leave offshore to the big boys with a pipeline of projects like STO and WDS. But even for these guys the true value is rarely reflected in the SP. That's probably why Warren Buffet invested in Chevron at depressed SP recently even though he famously said the if he was considering the O&G industry he should be taken away to the looney bin.
