IMHO if Turnbull and Libs were serious they would hear the calls from rural people to get the NBN up and running ASAP.


Arguing about fibre connection from street node to homes needing to be optional appeals to simple minds many of whom still neither interested nor understanding internet.


Basic economics still supports completion of NBN to existing buildings and residences, considering economy of scale work and expensive later linking older buildings.



Nats lost considerable support opposing NBN.




IF Turnbull and Libs serious and eager to argue they could start presenting explanations as to how and why later they propose transferring NBN from government to corporate/shareholder ownership.

Such could generate some rational debate !
