Police investigate tsunami 'aid' website
Tasmanian police and the Red Cross are investigating the legitimacy of a website seeking donations for tsunami victims on behalf of the global charity.
The website was dismantled today.
It reportedly listed a mailing address in the northern Hobart suburb of Glenorchy for cheques or money orders and featured a Red Cross logo.
Tasmanian police say the website was hosted in the United States.
