As I write this post copper is the only major metal that is in the green in trading in the US. In my view Aeris is being punished because of a lack of trust in management caused by past errors not least the Round Oak acquisition. Just look at how much cash they wasted in FY’23.
AL would earn back a bit of trust by circling the wagons for the next 12 months, generate as much cash as possible from Tritton, Cracow and Mt.Colin/Barbara and then in FY’26 look at Jaguar and Stockman. Get the basics right, get the balance sheet and funding right.
