First off I am only a holder because so far under not worth sell. didn't participate inCR and won't in future. The way the failure of the battery cases was hidden, or not reported was the last straw for me.

Onthe merits of hydro versus batteries though the following applies
The energy in a cubic metre of water raised to a height of 200 metres is about half a kilowatt hour. this is a rough figure for quick comparison. A redflow has 10 kw.hr storage. So even with a 200 m head available for the hydro batteries offer far superior energy density. Water has a lot of other advantages of course but pumped hydro (because of losses decreases. performance even more) in a countries where suitable locations are few and far between without causing other problems is a bad idea in my opinion.
