the statistical intepretation is correct. You are trying to interpret the anomaly by the use of % and not wieghing in the fact that 6 months (out of 12) have been completley overlooked altogether
the oct,oct,nov stream is showing an over representation of that period of time
ie it is 3 times out of 84 wheras April is 1 out of 84 may 1 out of 84 July 1 out of 84 Dec 1 out of 84
Jan 0 Feb 0 etc and so on
So statistically speaking he is right, the is a far higher incidence of OCt than any other month
i hope i made that easy to understand, in simple terms there is a far far far higher hit on Oct (nov inc) during that period you have used than any other month
