Exciting times indeed. The final paragraph says it all:

To back up the firms advice, released just hours ago, the Australian government has released its National Battery Strategy, aiming to make Australia competitive in producing batteries: $532 million committed to National Battery Strategy

In short: Half a billion dollars has been committed to encouraging battery production, but how that money will be used is still being determined even though the scheme will start 1 July, 2024. The government is consulting with industry.

There is no other graphite-ready Aussie player with a large Aussie asset but RNU.

First-mover or the only-mover advantage (take your pick) means that this is a great place to be parked!
