the drop is related to the extreme spike the copper price found itself at brought on by shorters, it had to retreat at some stage, plus the overnight reaction to interest rates which indicates all is still not well.
the demand picture is still intact, the supply picture hasn't improved so copper should now finds its price without less of the extreme trading happening.
