I wonder what the hold up is on activating that Kununuura vanadium pilot battery for Horizon power?

The contract was announced last July 28 [ref] and the battery landed in Australia about four months later in early January this year.​

That was five and a half months ago!​

And the IGO battery that’s been here for years, but as far as I know is still not installed at the Nova nickel mine….

And the prototype ‘home storage’ battery that was on display for the politicians etc at the opening of the Wangara electrolyte plant and destined for home testing as of February but - at last notice - was still being tested after five and a half months.

Google says the Neoen/Tesla BIG BATTERY at Hornsdale took only six months to install and be fully operational and yet I think it was the first grid-connected long storage lithium battery to ever be built.


I wonder why AVL is being so tardy?

Just five weeks now till EOFY, and on linkedin a while back I think it was Tom Plant, the AVL CFO who hinted lots of announcements were coming so I very much hope we DO close at 2.7c!!
