Why do you consider the rare earths of this competitor to be a waste product?
From what I understand its because its not the primary product. its not the product that sustains the operation. The mine isnt deriving the main component of its income from rare earths. I believe its simply separated and there you go, in a pile (unseparated still). of waste (that then gets sent to someone else to try and sort out from the waste was the seeming plan. But this may have changed). Theres some rare earths in it all mixed in.
Its like trying to say ETM is a "feldspar company".
    Its not.
The waste produced while chasing the REEs is just being used for a few minor fraction of % extra profit and ETM doesnt go pretending they are anything they arent. As if they focused on its extraction as a priority. The company wouldnt find anyone interested to offer finance to just lose money from day one.

If there is "no interest" as you say, in this competitor, what is the concern?
There is no concern. Not for ETM. I remember asking ETM management if the mine next door was a competitive threat and they laughed.

ut if you were the other company next door. If that waste product was up for sale and suddenly the mine next door opens up with a much more profitable product that the best in the world are lining up to buy even before its available. How do you think youd feel in that position? Pretty upset and scared they will open. Maybe you might even try do everything you possibly can in hopes they never will open. Pure desperation. You can read it in what they try to say in the hopes its believed.

What elements, minerals or oxides are the main income sources for ETMs proposed mine?
Depends on the operations proposed option eventually accepted by the GOG. Rare earths eg Dy etc are the main focus and the significant (96%) component of profits.. This is all readily available in company announcements.

Does ETM or its competitor have a mining or exploitation licence?
Neither has an unconditional exploitation license. The GoG have no made it known yet for many many years..
The mine next door tries to state it has an "exploitation license". But for, as far as everyone is aware, it cant clear it to use it and begin any operation. So whats it really worth until it can?. Things cleared like sourcing finance, sourcing offtake partners etc etc Major things indeed that we havent seen achieved since 2020 and required extensions to try achieve. The clock stops ticking next year on the opportunity. But considering how long its been thus far. Thats a real worry for them. The company has several presentations expressing this and the desperate levels they are attempting eg crypto etc. Check it out online. Been offered for a while so it doesnt seem to have worked considering the plot still sits accumulating dust.

A poster here may offer otherwise. But when we ask for any proof. Theres never any forthcoming.
ETM doesnt bother with them. They will just be bouncing off the bumper when ETMs up and running
