Small mindedness in Australia means that anything other green hydrogen is not acceptable to the green crowd. It's an ideology issue vs a practicality issue. This is why Eraring chewing black coal and spewing emissions gets its extension.
The last part of your post is one part shattering and one part very exciting.
The shattering part is how close we got.
The exciting part is that things have only improved for PEP11 since Scomo illegally interfered with an administrative part of the Resources portfolio. If you, like me, believe 100% that the NOPTA advice is to approve, then we know what Ed Husic needs to do.
