    Whereu
I appreciate your comment and agree with alot of it

"Some Christians seem to think that it is important that the Christian Sabbath be celebrated on a Saturday rather than on a Sunday. My understanding is that the reason that it landed up on a Sunday was because many early Christians were Jews who celebrated the Jewish Sabbath on Saturday - Sunday was chosen to avoid the clash"

Theres one of the points in contention
WHO gave Rome or an emperor the right(state) to change something that is of religous content?

Jesus said render unto Ceasar, what is ceasars, and unto God what is Gods

The bible clearly speaks about an entity that would arise and be anti Christ in its teaching and be a church state power

I dont claim that Rome didnt have an influence, thats Ppm putting words in my mouth to suit his own bias on the subject

The issue is its made out like the christians at Rome were the ones with the consensus and they were not, they helped compile what was already written and accepted, but they overstepped the line and actually started changing things as you stated

Ill repeat again, christianity came out of Judaism, people on this forum are trying to portray that without the roman church there would be no christianity, thus is a furphy

    Get well
