2014 - coup by definition - not a consitutional process 2014 - a civil war happened unless you live under a rock you would know that the Oblasts in the east were pissed at the coup and fought the nationalsists You would also know that the DPR/LPR forces were supported by russia - yes a proxy force - is this some massive surprise to you? 2014 - Crimea voted to join the Russian federation. Perhaps you have memory loss but why would Zelensky try to retake crimea if it was not lost to the Russian Federation?
