it seems the Liberals are tightly bound to Israel.
do they have a vested interest? whose vote are they aiming to gain?
many Jews live in seats that were lost to Teal candidates. the Libs have already decided they are going to bother trying to win those seats back.... instead they are aiming to capture the PHONy and PUPpy supporters. they should gain around 6% additional primary votes on average with this strategy, but most of those voters don't live in the former 'safe seats'.
so whats their objective?
it would be far more sensible if they adopted Albanese's neutral stance. we in Aus are far removed from Israel and Palestine. we should make the effort to avoid taking sides. the same applies to the ICC arrest warrant application.
