If that was the case and BHP was to consider buying SDL I think they along with other big hitters would have to consider RISK
Wait until rail was completed
Wait until port was completed
OR
Buy the project and drill a few more holes to confirm up more resoucres and SIT on them until required
Problem
The Cameroon goverment is very keen to see this project up and running asap so who ever brought it would have to commit to spending the money and put the project staff in place .Plus Rio and co are spending aprox 9billion in the Pilbara.
This is why I don,t think BHP would bother .
The Chinese are more likely as they are pooring BILLIONS in to Africa for the long term .
