To me this just shows the disdain the Chinese directors (who hold no shares) hold for shareholders. Daniel Lieu after ripping them off for years realises the game is up and so just resigns leaving only one Australian resident director and therefore knowing full well it will get suspended.

Yet the vast majority of retail shareholders have just proposed two new directors - and they must have already submitted their CV and consent to be director forms and director numbers as they are named in the 249d and ready to go on!. - So why not just put one of them on? even if it's just for a few days till the meeting. ZIMC would still control the board at least until the extraordinary meeting called for June 6- because they have 2 directors and the chairmanship (with casting vote)- so why not?

It would take 30 mins to hold a meeting and appoint one of them. But no - I would guess they must they have seen all the shareholder votes going in against them and know their goose is cooked at last and so they have just decided to abandon ship and purposefully shaft all the Aussie shareholders whose money they have been taking for years.

If the board doesn't arrange to relist in 5 days - it then gets very hard to relist and will need a new full prospectus.
Even if after the extraordinary meeting the majority shareholders kick these ZIMC clown directors into touch and put on a fresh new and more experienced Aussie board.

Shareholders you must put your votes in this week and let's get rid of these clowns once who just want to hog power in ZEU - and let a new team run this company.

This issue would take a normal efficient board who cared about their shareholders approx 1 hour to fix this so it could get relisted- but I bet the ZIMC guys don't even get around to holding a board meeting they are so slow - This is just complete dereliction of duty from these hopeless Chinese govt state employees acting as directors
