    They are correct, they can only buy your shares for $1 which will crystallise the loss, they don’t issue the declaration of loss.

    I filed up this form https://www.delisted.com.au/sell-your-worthless-shares/ and worked with Anna, hopefully my memory doesn’t fault me.
