Located 15 miles west of the City of Magnolia in southwestern Arkansas within the Smackover Formation, the Standard Lithium project boasts one of the highest-grade lithium brine resources in North America, with a maximum concentration of 597 mg/L and an average of 437 mg/L. (Compare that to Prairie's seven test sites, with lithium concentrations ranging from 95 to 159.) Brine has beenextracted commercially from the Smackover in southern Arkansas for approximately 60years and is well understood.

The depth of the top of the Smackover in the Property area generally dips from north-northeast to south-southwest and varies in depth from approximately 7,600 feet (2,316meters) subsea to approximately 9,100 feet (2,773 meters) subsea. Compare that to Prairie, which is drilling its first well to 2,700 meters.
