naaa...Glencore would pay us a much lower price for our chloride because they still need to convert it into carbonate, whereas overseas chloride customers can save on the conversion cost (as per DJ's explanations in the webinar). It's smart for GLN to let Glencore go, to secure a much better offtake agreement and a much better position for funding. It was good to do the Glencore deal initially because it provided legitimacy for our innovative chloride strategy - very smart. We just got the green light from the government a month ago. As DJ said, we are on our way to making this a reality. In the meantime, lot's of room for speculation...
