I'm going to reiterate my speculation that WR1 replaces SOQUEM in their 50/50 JV with Azimut.
Think about it: WR1 could well save the Quebec and Canadian state and pension investments in Renard. SOQUEM is a state-owned enterprise to support exploration, not development and mining. They have now found something. The state will want to see the best business outcome for the whole project. Amalgamating the resource makes logistical and financial sense.
I know some folks don't want deals yet cus it's dilution in ownership etc but you can see the logic here.
