Rain -> Over here in the real Straya (WA), they are expecting 100mm over several days, beginning yesterday.
I checked our two rainwater tanks yesterday, 240,000 Lt's all up, and already there is a notable rise in the levels.
Mind you, the house roof area is very big, plus the machinery shed roof.
Last night I was sleeping down stairs in the games room on the lounge and blow me down, at around 2am I hear dripping coming onto the floor near my head, up against a wall, hmm.
We had a heap of hail and wind and it's looking like (hope), that the hailstones piled up in one of the upper level valleys, hence causing it to overflow.
When my wife has finished dressing her face etc LOL, I'll have to turn the power off and climb up into the roof space, to try and locate exactly where it came in and assess any potential damage.
Then latter if the rain eases up (hail a while ago), I'll have to attempt to get up on the steep color bond roof, lower level with volleys on for potential grip lol, to make sure there is nothing lodged in the valley.
I expect not, as we have no close trees, but who knows, a bird may have dropped something in there, bone etc?
If you don't hear from me ever again, then there has possibly been a whoopsie
RIP. lol.
I'll have to survive, as there is supposed to be a 100 yr reunion of the old primary school that I used to go to, that began in 1924.
I still live in the area, just relocated in it and my Father also attended that school.
