I cannot believe how stupid these politicians, public service and media commentators are.
There is a historical precedent for what has happened, the 1970 oil shock when the surge in the cost of oil triggered massive inflation which ultimately became stagflation.
Energy goes into everything we do, its the life blood of the economy. So you drive the cost of energy up like these morons have and you will push the cost of everything up. Of course they tried to blame Russia but you disrupt your energy grid by taking plentiful, cheap, efficient energy that you have control over with expensive, unreliable, renewables.
All forms of Government are responsible, state, federal, local council as are all parties, liberal, national, ALP, Green, Teal etc etc. But you get the Government you deserve. Australia has become a dumb, lazy country that takes it for granted. So we got politicians who reflect that with the latest incumbent the worst yet and that takes some doing hey ScoMo and Mal? The biggest decision Albo makes is whether he has choclate or vanilla ice cream. He is not a leaders a hole.
