The sham "President" has no legitimacy and therefore, actually as per the Ukrainian constitution, he cannot negotiate for Ukraine - by that I mean that Russia will not accept any deals the illegitimate one may present. Russia is a country that always acts within the rules of law and they will only commit to peace when they have received legally binding agreements How the illegitimate one can achieve that - well it doesn't seem possible. I figure therefore that the illegitimate one will be removed and a legitimate candidate installed
