A multi-billion dollar, energy megaproject that involves doing things that Australia has plenty of expertise and local experience in doing - digging holes and building dams - has turned into an expensive, technical fustercluck?

Why does anyone think that building nuclear power stations is going to go better? Australia has the opportunity to become a world leader in solar and battery deployment, technology and manufacture - we have all the raw materials in abundance, a highly educated workforce and plenty of sun and land to make it work. This is such a good opportunity for Australia to get ahead of the curve globally.
