Brookfield was the ‘giant’ who tried to secure Origin Energy a while back and failed and is involved (hugely) in grid connected energy systems in Australia and around the world…(it got together with Tesla to build the world’s first big battery at Hornsdale in South Australia in 2019/20
…. And was said to be looking at long storage options a while back….
