Precisely, as usual, Spiro. The problem at last year's AGM was that everyone thought that RJ was looking for a pay rise for himself and obviously some still think that. He has made it as clear as crystal that the extra money is NEEDED to attract and add MORE Directors with expertise. Something that you have to pay for and if we are going where we all hope, we will need the best possible skills and expertise to help us along the way. We are knocking on the door to a new era for ICN and to get the best brains to help us can only benefit the company and us shareholders.
You will find that most companies are in the same boat and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the amount lifted by regulation in the not too distant future. $250,000 per annum for a Board of Directors in today's world, really is "peanuts" and what do they say about peanuts??
