Why wouldn't I be chirpy? I sold at an average price ~70% higher than today's share price, then reinvested those funds elsewhere, where I'm still 25% ahead, despite recently giving back some gains (I was ~70% ahead and had recovered all AGY losses). Holding on here would have resulted in significantly greater losses (several hundred thousand more). Yet you were advocating to hold onto AGY for dear life because this company is a winner. It's just a shame the market doesn't agree with you. I'm thrilled I took the loss; it was a shrewd move that saved me from further losses and allowed me to benefit from other opportunities.

But since you asked, no one should trust my assessment of the company, and they absolutely shouldn't trust you either. And that's where we differ. I'm not trying to build trust by flaunting decades of dubious experience or keeping my trades opaque to maintain the illusion of a single-digit average for credibility. I couldn't care less, which is why I'm open about being just another investor who makes mistakes like anyone else.
