    Nuke tech had some merit 2 decades ago but was was limping along
    since then solar tech , wind tech , battery tech & smart distribution technologies have improved by leaps and bounds - now massively cheaper and still improving year by year
    while Nuke energy has just gotten more & more expensive
    - and understandably given that Fukushima happened in one of the world's most advanced tech countries
    now.... why would Aust ,with minimal nuclear tech expertise , high labour costs, with abundant solar, land and wind resource even consider Nuclear???
    It would take a special kind of madness to do so
    ... cue Dutton and the Libs
