I think you're right. While most of us on HC decried the Macquaries and Goldman Sach prediction of oversupply, they were right - or at least not wrong. Perhaps it wasn't so much oversupply as under demand, call it what you will, we've ended up where they said we'd be. I, for one, ignored them and took them as self serving downrampers, while ignoring the fact that these guys don't put out commentary to deliberately mislead their clients. So unless they are telling the market one thing and telling their clients the opposite, their commentary should not be totally ignored. Sure, they get it wrong from time to time - but I doubt deliberately.
If I'd paid more attention and did more digging and not sat back and waited for the 'bounce' (Lithium ALWAYS bounced, yeah?), I'd not have watched $1m in profit slowly disappear. VERY annoyed with myself. But we live and learn. DYOR very much the key.
