I believe they are separate things. The royalty sale was in relation royalties that were being received by BDR for iron ore already being mined by Anglo on a separate licence nearby. Presumably a previous owner of both licences sold that licence to Anglo on a royalties basis, but for BDR it makes more sense to get the cash upfront to help fund the project.
What mgwa was referring to is the iron ore within the Tucano orebody. No doubt an agreement will be struck with Anglo so they can have the iron ore within the Tucano ore body. This should indeed have a very positive impact on costs as there will be revenue from what would otherwise be waste.
