IMHO the expected rerate coming from RED's coming out the other side of hedging and debt will now be subdued as it is shared with SLR shareholders. The advantages of this merger for RED have always been obscure to me, but as a natural born distrustful cynic, the only reason that SLR were given a vote and RED not could only be that the merger was more beneficial to SLR. Done deal now and SLR shareholders enthusiasm for the deal makes me even more sure that RED shareholders will benefit the less. I will be especially miffed if MW's payout is not able to be voted down. If not, the next remuneration package should suffer our wrath.
