No one in the EU Parliament, the EU Council or the EU Commission are there without facing a direct election of their countrymen.

The EU Council are the heads of state of each EU member, directly elected by their respective electorates, the EU Commission is made up of government MP's from each member state where they are directly elected to government by their citizens and then are voted to the EU Commission by the directly elected EU MP's.

So no not unelected, you are completely misguided.

As for corruption, a diversion from the "EU is unelected" claim you have been repeating endlessly for the last few weeks is a reality and the EU are investigating EU MP's for taking illegal payments from Russia. Funny, but no surprise, that EU corruption is connected to Russia.
